What is MiFiel?

MiFiel is a leading electronic signature platform in Mexico, offering a secure and legally robust solution for signing documents online. Using Advanced Electronic Signature (FEA), MiFiel provides a more secure and reliable method than traditional handwritten signatures, guaranteeing document authenticity and legality.

How Does Integration with Webdox Work?

The MiFiel integration with Webdox CLM transforms contract management by simplifying the e-signature process into three simple steps:

• Sending the Contract: The contract is emailed to the signers as part of the workflow.
• Signing on the MiFiel Portal: Users are redirected to the MiFiel portal to review the document and input their signature certificates (.CER, KEY).
• Verification and Completion: Signers verify their identity by entering their password. Once signed, a final copy of the document is distributed to all parties and automatically recorded in Webdox for management.

MiFiel ensures that private keys remain under the user's exclusive control and generates a preservation record (NOM151) issued by a Certification Service Provider (PSC) authorized by the Ministry of Economy. This record validates that neither the document nor the signature has been altered since its creation.
